Significance Of Our Logo
In a compass, the North sign always remains on top, the same is reflected in the logo of Rotary Club Varanasi North. In unknown lands, deserts, and on seas, the compass holds meaning for a traveller by being a symbol for guidance, with the ability to point you in the right direction.
The word itself has a Latin root derived from the word ‘com’- meaning together, and ‘passus’-meaning, way or route fitting for the adventurer. It connects us with the ideals of Rotary in the same way as in life and service to society; to act as a guide to attain the goal of quality of life.
Our Rotary club Varanasi North and the cardinal direction North, in red colour, shows our goal. It is for moving ever upwards and onwards to attain a happier and more purposeful life.
